7TH GRADE

During my 7th Grade school year, I have grown the most in creativity, both inside & outside of school. With this growth in creativity, it is easier to make my artwork look more realistic and detailed. Creativity is one of the 5 important qualities at STEM that makes a class activity or project more exciting and fun to perform. One example of a project or activity that best shows my growth in creativity is when we did our Storybook project. This was a project where we had to create a storybook for 3rd to 5th graders that taught them wellness topics. In our STEM Foundations class, this impacted my growth the most because my partner and I had to create several drafts of a picture for the storybook with everything that had to make it professional as we could with straight, smooth lines with perfect shading and evenness of the paint. I had learned from this by looking at my earlier draft and observing my mistake and fixing them. This growth of creativity also helps me with my drawing skills when I’m outside of school because I can create my pieces of artwork to be more realistic and detailed. Just like in a project or an activity, creativity is everywhere, even when you don’t realize it.
