FICTIONAL MAP PROJECT

 

 

The Growth that I had experienced in this class is becoming more creative. Before I grew in creativity from this class, I felt like I was not in touch with my creative artwork and after I grew more and more, in time, it was easier for me to think of a creative piece or for a project that includes creativity, it would be very easy for me to do that now.

 

Two projects in World History that had increased my creative nature were the Greece Poster project (not in the portfolio) and the Fictional Country Map project. For the Greece poster project, we had to make a poster ad for either Spartan or Athens men, woman, children, or slaves. We fist had to make a first draft and get critiqued. We then would get our critique back, we would do another draft with another critique then another one and then we get a big sheet of paper and make our final draft of our poster. We also had to make a slogan for what our poster idea was. We also had to do research about what side and person we chosen. For the fictional country project, we had to make a fictional country of what we like with everything a real map has, and have a history to our fictional country. We first did research of real maps; we then started making our fictional country and got them critiqued by our peers so we could make our drafts better. Then we took our critique feedback and made our new draft of this project along with the history of the country. I also made a full scale model of my country’s flag to be more creative with this project. After we were finished with the final draft of the project with the fished history, we presented our country with our history to the class. 2 artifacts for my poster project is my final draft because the classroom content shown in this is creativity, persistence and it shows how much effort I had put into working on this. My artifact is not attached because it is secured in Mr. Pant’s classroom. The artifact for my fictional map country is my final draft because the classroom content that is shown is creativity, and how much effort I had put into this project.

 

For my poster project artifact, its shows growth because the lines straight & smooth and the amount of detail in this piece makes it look like I put lots of effort & time into this piece of work. The Fictional country project shows growth because the amount of detail & creativity of what this land is and what inhabits this land is shown in this piece of work. The detail of what shows growth in my artifacts will help the future me because over time, my creative passion will grow more and more and I will develop new styles and techniques. To further develop my skill, I will need to work harder and be more precise.
