STRUGGLES IN 9TH GRADE

What we need to do for this project in Physics was to replicate a design, by going over measurements and putting them into a modeling program on our laptop from one of the wooden cars provided by our teacher with a partner or two.  Two artifacts that show my group’s process in the project is the final assembly of the car and a sketch that I made for a wheel that was going to be on the car. Both artifacts go together well because the wheel was placed onto the car and needed some modifications before it was the final version and was put onto the digital car. The process of doing manual measurements and putting them into a file and using several techniques to get the wheel to look right. The biggest struggle of this project could have been the lack of communication between my group and with that, problems were the case like inaccurate measurements and miscommunications about how to do the project. It was a problem towards our group because as the project went on, it was a little more difficult to try and find a solution, but we started to communicate and got back on track and go the project done. The communication became better and my group started to talk more about future deadlines and we even worked outside of school to try and get the best measurements for the car and come back to school and try them out and if they didn’t work, do something different to change the outcome. This project had many different processes, but it got easier as time paeesed for our group, but it felt like this project was one that i didn't understand, which didn't help the construction at all and made the situation for our group worse to meet deadlines and communicate.
